SECOND ANNIVERSARY PARTY

This weekend is our second anniversary! To celebrate this Saturday 9/24 we’re opening up bottles of everything we’ve made over the last year that we’ve been keeping in our rookery for this very occasion! Pick up your tickets and come walk down memory lane and grab another sip of your favorite mead you thought you were out of!

ARTIVEM AT THE MAZER CUP INTERNATIONAL

The biggest mead competition took place last week! Results are in and Artivem took home two gold and a silver metal! Resplendent Quetzal and barrel aged White Goshawk flew away with golds and Captain Magpie is building its nest with a nice silver this year. While we are out of stock of both White Goshawk and Captain Magpie you can get both this weekend at our anniversary party!

BIRDS AREN’T REAL

Well, we made a wine. Presented with some extra Pinot Noir juice after making our pyment in 2021 we thought, guess we’ll just let this be wine. Inspired by the natural wine movement, we allowed the fermentation proceed without any added yeast and then let the wine rest on it’s lees for 9 months. After tasting we decided that this wine would be great with a little carbonation, so we added a little honey to start a refermentation in the bottle and now we have BIrds Aren’t Real. We’re excited to continue exploring this natural wine world, and we hope you enjoy what we’ve created. Be cool. Drink Wine. Fight Birds.
